I got some great stuff in the mail today. Two magazines that I have been eyeing and thinking about picking up for a while.
First off I got issues 2 – 4 of Offscreen. To be honest, I also would have picked up issue 1 if it weren’t sold out, but alas. Taken from their website:
Offscreen is an “old-fashioned” magazine in high-quality print, exploring the life and work of people that create websites and apps. We tell the less obvious human stories of creativity, passion and hard work that hide behind every interface.
I also picked up the first three issues of the The Manual. Each book is beautifully designed with it’s own accent color, front icons and sturdy chipboard cover. Each issue includes illustrations, NO code, and articles about the discipline of web design focusing on the self exploration of who we are as designers.
Would definitely recommend getting yourself a subscription of both of these.
